The Berkshire Round-Up

I'm in Williamstown, MA doing some plays at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. As a former Middlebury College student I feel kind of evil living on the campus of our former rival, Williams College - whose mascot is the "Eph," a purple cow, which is flat stupid - but, on the other hand, I've been absolutely loving being in the mountains again, in a college town where you look forward to breakfast at a shitty diner, drink in people's backyards, swim in creeks, buy $14 30-racks of PBR, and go to the Wal-Mart fifteen minutes away for your every need.

I rag on Wal-Mart often, mostly because of how evil they are in every way possible, but fuck! They have everything! One-stop shopping is the shittttttttt. I got shoes for ten dollars and I feel great. A huge box of Frosted Mini-Wheats was $1.99. You know what that costs at Key Foods? Like a million dollars. So, yeah, suffice to say, I bought a lot of cereal.

Aside from the weather (rain literally every day for 2 weeks straight,) the whole thing has been a blast. The shows are fantastic, the playwrights are amazing, and if you're in the market for a Berkshire retreat you should come see these, as well as the mainstage shows with the famous people.
